The formerly disused industrial heritage building is now the BRAND building of the complex Technology and Innovation Park development. The reinforced concrete building of the "Cube" was built in 1976 as a warehouse for the Győr Biscuit Factory, and is now transformed into a multifunctional building of the Győr University, where educational and research functions meet. The aim of the project was to integrate the building and its surroundings into the life of the university and the city, creating a platform to help the long-term development. A key requirement was the creation of a flexible space-use system in which the different functions support each other and follow the development of the project throughout the evolution of the investment. The building has four floors of education and research space, and two additional floors have been occupied by large industrial companies, thus strengthening their collaboration with the university. While keeping the strict industrial facade the interior spaces are transformed and adapted to a more flexible use, still preserving the original industrial ambiance.
